The Bosch VER-D2R2-2 DINION capture 7000 License Plate IP Camera (NTSC) captures detailed and reliable images of vehicle license plates, and is ideal for use in parking lots, public places, and freeways. An additional overview camera provides the complete vehicle image simultaneously for accurate vehicle identification. It proves highly efficient for monitoring and enforcing speed limits on freeways as it can record images of vehicles moving as fast as 140 mph (225 kmph). The camera achieves great clarity levels by capturing the tiniest details in recorded images thanks to its DINION 2X technology, along with the 20-bit digital signal processing. The VER-D2R2-2 incorporates a 1/3″ wide dynamic range CCD sensor and records footage at a horizontal resolution of 540 TVL. The 5 to 50mm varifocal lens of this IP camera is pre-calibrated to provide a surveillance range of 12.5 to 21' (3.8 to 6.4 m) and delivers optimum images at 16' (4.9 m). Synchronization with the LED array enables the camera to function at night as well. Advanced Ambient Compensation is used in bright light conditions to automatically adjust the exposure and this prevents photos from being washed out. This is especially useful in situations when the source of light is behind the camera or when the headlight glare of an oncoming car is affecting the image quality. The Night Capture Imaging system illuminates the license plate with a burst of infrared light from the pulsed LED array (850 nm). As the visible light is filtered, a clear IR-illuminated image of the license plate is obtained. The camera easily adapts to the changing ambient light in the surveillance area using Automatic Mode Switching (6 programmable modes). This guarantees reliable 24-7 monitoring.The IP67 compliant, weather sealed aluminum housing of this Bosch surveillance camera keeps dust and water at bay, allowing you to mount the camera outdoors without having to worry about the internal and external components getting corroded.
