The Bosch VJR-821-IWTV AutoDome Junior HD 10x Camera (Tinted, White), having a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux (at 50 IRE / Night Mode), is suitable for low light surveillance. It has a 1/2.5” sensor and 6.3-63mm lens, and is able to deliver high-quality images at a resolution up to 1080p.The VJR-821 -IWTV offers a maximum of 160x zoom. Without compromising on image quality, H.264 compression technology, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting capabilities help in saving storage space and reduce the amount of bandwidth needed. The camera offers continuous 360° panning, 0-94° tilt range, high-speed panning up to 360°/sec and a tilt speed up to 100°/sec. The quad-streaming feature can deliver 3 H.264 streams simultaneously with an M-JPEG stream in full and reduced bandwidth modes. Furthermore, Integrated Autoscaling (proportional zoom) and Autopivot features allow the camera to automatically rotate and flip, ensuring optimal control. IVA (Intelligence Video Analysis) bases the IVA algorithm on digital imaging technology that uses multilevel image analysis of pixels, texture, and object direction. Image stabilization algorithms reduce camera shake in both horizontal and vertical axes, thereby allowing stable and high-quality images. Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to obtain the most natural colors. When the object being captured is in front of a bright light, backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure. The camera offers up to fifteen individually configurable privacy masks. Each mask changes size smoothly as the camera is zoomed, thus ensuring that the covered object cannot be seen. Incorporated iSCSI support streams video directly to an iSCSI RAID array that enables local video storage. Recording at the Edge limits the dependence on bandwidth and ensures that system recording performance is independent from network performance. In addition to NTCIP (National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol) conformance, the camera is compatible with the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) standard, thereby ensuring the VJR-821--IWTV works smoothly with other surveillance devices. PoE (Power over Ethernet) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
