Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I-2.8MM 4MP IR Outdoor Turret IP Security Camera

I am planning to buy more because I am quite happy with it. It is a good solid item that produces high resolution picture at a rapid rate. The 4MP HD 1/2.9” image sensor is outstanding and it can generate 20fps with ease. It also produced 720p HD and 1080p Full HD results at 30/25 fps. Best security camera that I have purchased.

For a long time now I have been using another security camera brand in my home that which does cost a lot as compared to this one. But the image quality is pretty poor. I have overabundance of black bears near my neighborhood I wanted to use security cams to avoid any mishaps. I bought this one upon a friend’s recommendation and I was amazed at the value for money that this device offers. I can send my media to my iPhone and set alert tones as well. Great work!

I was looking for a wide-angle camera that is compatible with Synology Surveillance system. This system allows me to keep an eye on entryways, delivery packages, front yard and the garage. These cameras are made of metal and properly sealed to keep rain off. The image quality along with IR/night performance is very impressive.

I had to do a lot of research to buy this one because I couldn’t find a better on in this price range. Its night vision isn't that good but I think that other camera in this range and class are no different whatsoever. I guess I had to lower my expectations and bought this one. Combining the BlueIris software it works better.
