Suitable for monitoring outdoor spaces such as forests, roadways, railways, airports, ports, squares, and parks, as well as transit stations and other large venues, the DS-2DF8C842IXG-ELW 8MP PTZ Network Dome Camera from Hikvision uses a 1/1.2" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 3840 x 2160 resolution video at 24 fps. IR LEDs provide up to 1640' of night vision. A 7.5-315mm varifocal lens delivers a 60.4 to 1.7° horizontal field of view. The camera features endless panning, a -20 to 90° tilt range, and 42x optical zoom. Two-way audio is possible thanks to an audio input and output. A built-in memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. Compliance with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T enables interoperability with a wide range of surveillance devices. This PTZ camera is housed in an IP67- and IK10-rated enclosure (excluding glass window) that is suitable for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism. A built-in heater enables the camera to be operational at temperatures as low as -40°F, while a wiper ensures that the camera's front glass is free of water and debris.
