The i-PRO Advidia M-87-V is an 8MP varifocal dome network camera built around a 1/2.8 inch progressive scan CMOS image sensor. It captures 3840 x 2160 at up to 20 fps and delivers a signal to noise ratio above 56 dB, producing clean 4K images with enough detail for a single camera to cover a wide area while still resolving faces and plates within it.

A 2.8-12mm motorized zoom lens with auto focus covers a horizontal field of view from 107.4 degrees at wide to 29.2 degrees at telephoto, letting installers frame the scene remotely after mounting. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.003 lux in color and 0 lux with the IR LED active, which illuminates up to approximately 131 ft. True wide dynamic range of 120 dB balances bright backlight against shadowed foreground, while Smart IR, HLC, BLC, dewarping and digital noise reduction handle demanding lighting conditions. A 9:16 corridor mode reshapes the image for tall, narrow scenes such as aisles, hallways and stairwells.

Onboard analytics include cross line, intrusion, enter area and leave area detection alongside motion detection, tampering alarm and audio detection, reducing the volume of nuisance alerts reaching operators. Triple stream support allows simultaneous live viewing, recording and mobile access at different resolutions. A built-in microphone captures audio with G.711 compression, and the camera records locally to microSD cards up to 256 GB. The housing carries IP67 and IK10 ratings with 3-axis adjustment, operates from -22 °F to 140 °F, and accepts PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC power. The camera is NDAA compliant, supports ONVIF Profile G, S and T, and requires no additional license for use with Video Insight software.
