The i-PRO Panasonic WV-S2136LA is a 2MP (1080p) indoor dome network camera from the S-Series, built around an approximately 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor and an Ambarella CV25M system on chip with an onboard AI engine. The camera supports up to two Edge AI analytic applications, including AI video motion detection, AI privacy guard, AI face detection, AI people detection, AI vehicle detection, AI occupancy detection and AI scene change detection, along with AI sound classification for gunshot, yell, vehicle horn and glass break events.

A 2.9~9mm motorized zoom lens with 3.1x optical zoom and auto focus provides a horizontal field of view from 36 degrees at telephoto to 115 degrees at wide, with a maximum aperture of F1.3. i-PRO Super Dynamic wide dynamic range reaches up to 144 dB, balancing exposure in lobbies and entrances where daylight through glass meets darker interior areas. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.007 lx in color and 0 lx in black and white with the IR LED active, and the built-in IR LED illuminates up to approximately 230 ft, an unusually long range for an indoor dome that suits large open interiors such as warehouses and atriums.

i-PRO Smart Coding combines GOP control, Smart VIQS and Smart P-picture control to reduce bit rate without sacrificing detail in areas of interest. Security features include a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F), a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, signed firmware, HTTPS, IEEE 802.1X and alteration detection. The ABS resin housing with a clear acrylic dome operates from 14 °F to 122 °F. The camera is NDAA compliant, supports ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, streams H.265, H.264 and JPEG, records to microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and accepts either PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC power.
