LTS CMIP8222 2.1MP IR Mini Bullet IP Security Camera

LTS CMIP8222 Platinum IP Mini Bullet Camera 2MP features a progressive scan image sensor to capture clear and crisp images at resolutions of up to 1080p. The camera's IR-cut filter allows infrared light to pass through the lens and hit the sensor as light levels diminish. When these IR waves are detected, the camera automatically switches from color video capture to black and white video. The 3D DNR (Dynamic Noise Reduction with a 3D filter) in the camera manages the spatial noise reduction where it detects the unwanted noise in the same frame and eliminates the same.

Back Light Compensation (BLC) mode improves image detail of foreground objects in excessive background light conditions. The camera digitally adjusts the exposure in areas of the frame to maintain optimum detail in both the shadows and highlights of the image with the D WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). The camera is PoE compatible and eliminates the need for power cables. The IP66 rated LTS CMIP8222 Platinum IP Mini Bullet Camera 2MP can be used in areas that may be prone to harsh weather conditions.

    I wasn’t sure to buy this bullet camera mostly because of its 2.1MP. My rule of thumb is better the megapixels cleared the images and videos. But when it bought this camera I was surprised with its 30fps 1080p resolution output. With a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor works fine and is better than security camera that I have ever used

    I would have liked if the camera has motorized lens but the fixed one also does a smooth job. The CMOS sensor pairs with WDR very well and delivers exceptional quality videos and images and rest of the clarity comes with the 3D Dynamic Noise Reduction feature which works well in the dark.

    The most stunning thing about this camera is its 1/30s (1/25s) to 1/100,000s shutter speed which is quite brilliant as well as the viewing angle of 79-degree. It is a sensational product because it can take photos and make videos at night with the same clarity as day. The lens output is also equipped with Digital Noise reduction, which is one of the reasons even with the 2.1MP sensor it can cut some seriously clear visuals. It has the ability to high resolution shots with its 0.07 Lux at F1.2. The compressions of MJPEG and h.264 are also available.

    LTS Security is known for its good products and the CMIP8222 is no exception. It is a good quality basic features camera with 2.1MP capability of generating improved 1080p videos and images at 30 fps. The 4mm lens really gives it an edge over its competitor of the same price range. The combo of CMOS sensor and WDR gives it an edge when working with almost no light. The sensor is capable to take images both in day and night. I am in the security and I have been using this camera along with some others from LTS and I haven’t found any issues with any of these devices.

    People who prefer CMOS sensors will love this camera as I do. The WDR functions well with CMOS to produce 1080p resolution at 30 fps. The Dynamic Noise Reduction feature enhances the images in total darkness by acquiring whatever light it can from the surroundings.

    I wanted a good quality security camera that offered some basics right at my retail store. I bought CMIP8222 from LTS purely because a friend of mine recommended it to me. This camera is very easy to install and setup I connected this device with my DVR and the results were classy. I am looking to by a couple of more of these from LTS. The 1/3-inch CMOS with WDR delivers great results even during night time.
