The price is just right. Buying a recorder isn’t costly but what puts a hole in your pocket is the price of the hard drives. That being said the recorder is easy to use and since it is on the cheaper end the functions are less in number but more than enough if you are using it for personal use.
The thing I love about this digital video recorder from LTS it doesn’t cost much and uses standard coaxial cable for input. Its security DVR works great with 1SATA and provides 6TB storage. The feature I love is that the device allows 8 channel synchronized playback which means that you can view footage at a particular time with a variety of angles. What more can you ask.
For me, this is the best HD-TVI recorder ever. The feature that I loved the most was the multiple viewing angles you can use of a same video. The output is 1080p HD and it uses H.264 format to lower the load on your storage as well. The device also has a very compact size and it easily fits into anywhere you want without anyone noticing. 2 different video outputs add to its versatility for local monitoring. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. LTS is a good brand and I am glad that I bought their product. You are reading the words of a satisfied customer here.
A friend recommended this to me. After helping me set up and explaining how everything works I opted to put two cameras up. One in the garage and one in the back yard. The area I live in is pretty safe but having a surveillance system helps making it feel safer.
The big cushioned buttons make the day easier. As someone with fat fingers operating buttons can be a hassle. On this recorder I can comfortably operate the buttons without missing or hitting the wrong ones. You don’t need to put force on it either, a soft touch and the command is recognized.
I bought the DVR for two reasons. The first being the price and the recorder makes the most of it. The second would be the eight channels for cameras. Currently I am using four cameras and trying to save up for another. Having a recorder that can accommodate such a number makes for a long term investment. When the time comes you can opt for improving the cameras instead of the recorder.
The dual output let the recorder connect to different monitors. Versatility is wonderful no matter what the product is. The output on the recorder means it can be connected to a larger range of monitors making it more appealing. The compact size of the DVR makes for easier storage, even on a desk it leaves behind room.
Would recommend for home security. Analog system can be a more cost effective solution for home security. The DVR is reasonably priced and with the right research you can buy hard drive for cheaper. The dual HDMI and VGA output lets you buy an old and probably cheaper screen to use as a monitor. Unless you are rolling in money every single dollar counts and investing it in the right equipment can make a huge difference. In some cases just the presence of a security system can deter a criminal and the simple solutions are often the best.
