The LTS Security LXPTZIP424W-25XIR is a 4MP outdoor PTZ camera engineered for long-range surveillance with invisible IR illumination — a critical advantage for covert installations where visible red-glow IR would alert subjects to camera presence. Featuring a 1/2.8" 4MP STARVIS CMOS sensor and a 5–125mm motorized varifocal lens with 25x optical zoom, it covers everything from a 51.9° wide overview to a 3.0° telephoto close-up without physical repositioning. The 940nm invisible IR illuminator reaches up to 100 m (328 ft), providing covert night surveillance across large outdoor areas including perimeter fences, parking lots, and open grounds.

The LXPTZIP424W-25XIR delivers 4MP resolution (2560×1440) at up to 30 fps with H.265/H.264/MJPEG compression and triple-stream support. Its PTZ capabilities include pan (0°–360° endless), tilt (-5° to 90°), 300 preset positions, 8 patrol tours, 5 scan patterns, and auto-tracking lite for automated following of human subjects without operator intervention. VCA analytics support tripwire, intrusion detection, and MD 2.0 with human and vehicle classification. Face detection provides an additional identification layer. A built-in alarm I/O (2 inputs, 1 output) and audio I/O (1 input, 1 output) support integration with external devices for comprehensive event-driven responses.

The camera is IP66-rated for full outdoor weatherproofing and operates across an extreme temperature range of -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 149°F), making it suitable for year-round deployment in harsh climates.
