Mobotix's MX-M12-DevKit-Board is a first of its kind conceiled HD camera system. The camera is in the form of one module which can be hidden or conceiled and two image sensors on wires for fexible installation. This means the camera base can be installed in a discrete location while installing the image sensor, or eyeball, of the camera, in a different location. An optional 3 foot extension cable can be used for moving the sensors even further from the cameras recording station. The camera base also functions as a DVR with an SD card reader capable of accepting SD cards up to 32GB in size. Recording software is included in the purchase of The MX-M12-DevKit-Board camera kit. The MX-M12-DevKit-Board uses Mobotix's propietary MxPEG codec for seamlessly transmitting high definition images without hogging bandwidth on the network. The camera kit has an integrated microphone and speaker for two way communication out of the box.
