Samsung SNB-3000 is a box camera that has bi-directional audio support. With the addition of a microphone you can communicate with people in the area of the camera, a nice feature for those who want to be able to give warning to potential intruders. The Power over Ethernet ability allows you to put the Samsung SNB-3000 camera where you want to put it or need it most instead of where you have a power source handy. The same Ethernet cable you use to transfer data using H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG compression formats is the same Ethernet cable you use to power the camera.

Samsung SNB-3000 has a wide dynamic range allowing you to obtain a resolution of up to 600 TV lines at a recording speed of 30 frames per second. This resolution translates into a resolution of 704 x 480 at 30 frames per second. The IR cut filter gives you the ability to record in day or night time conditions. Samsung SNB-3000 has a 16x digital zoom that allows you to see a specific area of the field of view up close.
