The airGridM5 is extremely advanced as it is a combination of Ubiquiti's InnerFeed and airMAX technologies. This creates simple yet extremely powerful wireless CPE. The InnerFeed technology utilized in this airGridM5 integrates the entire radio system into the feedhorn of the antenna. The Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol allows each user to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots managed by an intelligent AP controller. This innovative “time slot″ method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. With the 27 dBi gain the grid delivers an optimum directivity and electrical efficiency.
