The Ubiquiti ECS-24-POE is an enterprise-grade, full-depth 1U rack-mount Layer 3 switch delivering 460 Gbps switching capacity across 26 ports — 24 multi-rate PoE+++ ports and 2 x 25G SFP28 uplinks. All 24 PoE+++ ports support up to 90W per port, making the ECS-24-POE an ideal distribution switch for power-hungry endpoints such as PTZ cameras, access points, video intercoms, and IP phones, with total PoE availability reaching up to 2,250W in shared mode with dual 1,200W power modules.

The switch features Ubiquiti's proprietary Etherlighting™ technology on both Ethernet and SFP28 ports, providing per-port LED activity at a glance. Redundancy is built in at every level: dual hot-swappable PSU modules and four hot-swappable fan modules ensure continuous operation even during maintenance. The switch operates at full non-blocking throughput of 230 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 342 Mpps, backed by an 8 MB packet buffer and support for 128,000 MAC addresses.

Layer 3 capabilities include DHCP server and relay, inter-VLAN routing, and static routing for local networks. Layer 2 features cover LACP port aggregation, STP/RSTP, IGMP snooping, 802.1X control, QoS (DSCP), voice VLAN, port mirroring, jumbo frames, and Pro AV profiles for platforms including Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron.
