Ubiquiti Networks RAD-RD2 provides the highest level of protection for the dish antenna. It is a protective radome or Radar dome that is designed and fabricated to satisfy a unique set of requirements. It is available as an optional accessory for RocketDish models RD-2G24, RD-3G26, and RD-5G30 (sold separately). The RAD-RD2 provides the various advantages to these RocketDish models. Though these dishes have the wind survivability of up to 200 km/h (125 mph), this radome reduces wind load a little more.

It protects the antenna's surfaces from nature's harshest elements such as fog, wind, rain and varying temperatures too. It can also improve antenna performance since high winds can distort the shape and pointing direction of the reflector. The radome conceals the antenna feed equipment from public view. When an antenna is protected with the radome, maintenance costs can be held to a minimum.
