The Ubiquiti U7-IW-US is a WiFi 7 (802.11be) in-wall access point purpose-built for hospitality, healthcare, education, and office environments where discreet, room-level wireless coverage is preferred. Replacing a standard wall plate, it provides up to 1,250 sq ft of coverage for 200+ clients while offering three 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports — making it an elegant solution for connecting wired devices such as TVs, IP phones, or workstations directly at the wall outlet.
The U7-IW-US delivers up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz using 2x2 MU-MIMO on both bands. Higher antenna gain on 5 GHz (8 dBi) relative to comparable in-wall units improves signal penetration through walls and across rooms. A built-in switch with one PoE+ input and one PoE output allows downstream powered devices to be connected without additional infrastructure. The access point supports 802.11r Fast Roaming, Band Steering, Wireless Meshing, and the full suite of UniFi captive portal and VLAN features.
Constructed with polycarbonate and aluminum alloy and mounted with the included metal wall mount, the U7-IW-US operates from -30°C to 40°C (-22°F to 104°F). It is NDAA compliant and draws a maximum of 13W (excluding PoE output), managed via the UniFi Network application.
