The Ubiquiti UA-RETROFIT-READER-W is an indoor/outdoor OSDP v2 access reader with NFC and Touch Pass support, designed to work with the UniFi Retrofit Hub using existing cabling infrastructure. Supporting NFC Card, Key Fob, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and mobile unlock, it provides a broad range of credential options including MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire, and ISO 14443A/B and 15693 standards at 13.56 MHz. Connectivity is achieved via RS-485, BLE 4.1, and NFC, enabling both wired OSDP communication and wireless mobile credential reading.

Rated IP55 for indoor and outdoor use, the UA-RETROFIT-READER-W operates from -30°C to 50°C and is powered by 12V DC at a maximum of 2.5W. The polycarbonate and aluminum alloy enclosure with stainless steel mount is white, includes wall and gang-box mounting hardware, and offers ESD/EMP protection (air: ±15kV, contact: ±8kV). It is NDAA compliant and certified by FCC, CE, and IC.
