The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-QSFP28-SR4 is a QSFP28 SR4 transceiver supporting 40G and 100G data rates over multi-mode fiber at distances up to 100 m (328 ft). Using an MPO-12 Type B UPC connector and operating at 850 nm on both TX and RX, it is designed for high-density data center spine-leaf interconnects, top-of-rack to end-of-row switch links, and server-to-switch breakout applications where maximum throughput over short-range parallel optical paths is required. It is compatible with UniFi and other standards-compliant QSFP28 switching platforms.
The SR4 (Short Range 4-lane) parallel architecture distributes 100G across four 25G lanes simultaneously, delivering full 100G line-rate performance with low latency. Maximum power consumption is 2.5W, keeping thermal load manageable even in densely populated line cards. The transceiver operates across 0°C to 70°C (32°F to 158°F), ensuring consistent performance in warm data center environments. As with all fiber optic transceivers, care should be taken not to look into the fiber ends or module aperture while powered.
