The Ubiquiti UP-CHIME is a WiFi-enabled doorbell chime designed to integrate seamlessly with the UniFi Protect ecosystem. Powered directly from a standard AC outlet (100–240V), it eliminates the need for batteries or complex wiring while providing audible and visual alerts whenever a UniFi doorbell event is triggered. The built-in speaker and buzzer work in tandem with five white LED indicators to ensure visitors are announced both audibly and visually in any room.
Operating over 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, the UP-CHIME pairs effortlessly with the UniFi Protect application and mobile apps (iOS and Android) for straightforward setup and management. Its polycarbonate and fabric enclosure gives it a clean, modern aesthetic that fits naturally in residential and small business interiors. ESD/EMP protection (±16kV air, ±8kV contact) safeguards the device against electrical surges, while a wide operating humidity tolerance (10–90% non-condensing) makes it dependable across varied indoor environments.
The UP-CHIME is NDAA compliant and draws a maximum of only 3.7W, making it an energy-efficient addition to any UniFi Protect doorbell deployment.
