The UniFi Doorbell Lite is a compact PoE video doorbell that runs on the UniFi Protect application suite. Its 1/2.7 inch 5MP sensor captures a tall 1920 x 2560 portrait frame at up to 24 FPS through a fixed focal length lens with a 95.8 degree horizontal, 131.2 degree vertical and 175.9 degree diagonal field of view, so a visitor and a package left on the doorstep stay in the same frame without repositioning the unit.

A single 10/100 MbE port carries both data and power, drawing a maximum of 8 W across a supported 37 to 57 V DC range. Built-in IR LED illumination with an IR cut filter extends usable coverage to 16 ft after dark, and two-way audio lets a homeowner or front desk speak with a visitor through UniFi Protect. Smart detections classify people, vehicles and animals so notifications stay relevant, while image settings including color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, 2DNR, 3DNR, noise reduction by motion, masking and text overlay allow the view to be tuned to the entryway.

The enclosure combines polycarbonate and metal with a formed sheet metal mount, rated IPX5 and specified for -22 F to 122 F operation at 20 to 90 percent noncondensing humidity. A flat wall plate and a 20 degree wedge are included, with gang box and junction box options available separately. A dedicated ring button and a factory reset button sit on the device, and the doorbell is NDAA compliant.
