Vivotek AW-GEV-264A-185 VivoCam L2 Managed PoE Switch 24xGE PoE + 2xCombo GE is a 24-port managed L2 PoE Gigabit switch that allows users to manage, configure, and monitor IP cameras, video servers, NVRs and central management software. The graphic management approach of the device enables users to view the entire surveillance system structure and device conditions by topology. This also allows users to map their outdoor surveillance application via Google maps. The switch offers trouble-shooting and traffic monitoring, and helps the user to clarify connection problems or device issues. The device is capable of filtering and forwarding packets at 10/100/1000Mbps. The switch features a MAC address table that is capable of 8K entries. The maximum PoE power provided is 30W per port with a 185 Watt power budget.

The switch supports IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet standard hence it automatically turns off power on Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port when detecting broken link or idle client and resumes Active mode without loss of any packets.
