This camera features many special technologies such as privacy masking, motion detection, flexible cropping, and multi-streaming options. Privacy masking blocks areas of an image from being monitored. Motion detection that triggers off an alarm when the device captures unrecognized or unwanted movement in it purview. Flexible cropping allows you to crop images to a desired level for optimal observation, and multi-streaming option that allows H.264 and MJPEG codecs to be used for streaming the videos and other security footage. The system uses true wide dynamic range feature to provide balanced images by combing dark and bright spots of an image for more clarity and quality.

The system allows true day and night functionality along with IR cut filters and optional IR LEDs enabling effective surveillance under any lighting conditions.
