The Arecont Vision AV3110 3 Megapixel MegaVideo IP Security Camera is part of Arecont Vision's full line of MJPEG megapixel cameras and maintains full motion progressive scan 2048 x 1536 video at 15 fps. A motorized IR cut filter switches between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting. This day/night item delivers clear images with a minimum illumination of 0 lux at f/1.4, even in low light conditions, which also increases sensitivity. The forensic zooming feature allows the user to zoom in for post-event investigations. This feature is useful when CCTV video footage needs to be previewed and analyzed in legal cases. A multi-streaming function enables the user to send videos using up to 8 concurrent, non-identical streams with different frame or bit rates, resolutions, and picture quality.

A constant brightness level is maintained via the automatic gain control, which adjusts the signal strength. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured, is in front of a bright light. The programmable shutter speed helps you control motion blur, resulting in crisp and clear images.
