The Arecont Vision AV5110DN 5 Megapixel Mega Video IP Security Camera is an MJPEG encoding, 5.0 MP resolution, IP addressable device, designed to deliver full motion high-definition progressive scan digital video across local area networks in a compact package. The Arecont Vision AV5110 uses a 1/2.5″ CMOS Sensor and has on-camera motion detection. With the AV5110's 5 MP resolution it boasts fifteen times the resolution of a VGA device at about the same cost. It has the ability to output multiple image formats allowing the simultaneous viewing of the full resolution field of view and regions of interest for high-definition forensic zooming.

The AV5110 IP is suitable for low-light conditions due to a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux at f/1.4. To capture even more light in low light areas Moonlight mode can be activated. The multi-streaming feature enables you to stream up to 8 concurrent non-identical streams with different frame-rates, bit-rates, resolutions, and picture quality. The Arecont Vision AV5110DN 5 Megapixel MegaVideo IP Security Camera auto multi-matrix white balance feature means it takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions.
