The Arecont Vision AV5115DNAIv1 5 Megapixel Mega video IP Security Camera features a 1/2.5" 5 MP CMOS image sensor and records high-definition color videos at a resolution of up to 2592 x 1944. It is a true day and night device that captures crisp and clear images in a minimum illumination of up to 0 lux thanks to the removable ICR (IR Cut Filter). It supports dual streaming in H.264 and MJPEG formats. It also features binning mode of data transfer for faster transmission rate. It is designed to address the cost-sensitive H.264 market as well as environmental housings requiring more compact camera and lens configurations.
Featuring Day/Night functionality with removable IR filter operation, the device switches between color and B&W as per changes in the ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. This tremendous resolution not only provides clear and detailed video images; it also allows you to monitor larger areas using fewer devices. This is because high-resolution megapixel cameras offer a much larger filed-of-view than traditional security cameras.
