The Arecont Vision AV5255DN-H 5MP Day/Night, 3.4-10.5mm Varifocal Manual Iris Lens offers a 3 MP, 1/2.5" CMOS image sensor with a maximum resolution of 2592x1994. The system comprises the corridor view technology that enables the lens to rotate at 90° to cover long areas in a hallway, passage, or corridors and also captures the blind spots beautifully. The casino mode allows the device to capture footage continuously at 30 frames per secod as required by the gaming industry regulation. The power to the device is supplied through Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af). This reduces the cost of installation immensely and also negates the need for power links.

The true day/ night functionality of the system allows effective surveillance during the day and night by using optimal night levels based on the requirement. The IR cut filters and optional IR LEDs help to provide effective lighting conditions during day and night times. The remote zoom feature allows you to fine-tune the image to achieve great image quality.
