Axis M1011-W is ideal for consumers who want a small, discrete camera to monitor their home or business. This camera offers progressive scan technology. This allows you to get a clear VGA picture without blurring moving objects. The fixed iris lens has a horizontal viewing angle of 47°. Another feature of the Axis M1011-W is the high resolution, 640 x 480 to 160 x 120, and delivers 30 frames per second.

The Axis M1011-W supports multi-stream H.264 image, Motion, JPEG, and MPEG-4 Part 2 transmission. You control the frame rate and bandwidth on all transmissions. The M1011-W supports two motion JPEG streams, each of which are individually configured, and one H.264/MPEG-4 Part 2 transmission stream. This camera uses less bandwidth and storage than the average MJPEG standards, making it easier to stream video.

Security of your home or business is not the only security for which the Axis M1011-W is known. You can secure this camera to restrict who can use it and how it can be used. The password protection allows you to restrict access of unauthorized personnel. You also can access the user access log to see which users have used the camera. You can set up IP filtering to restrict access to one or more users groups with a specific IP address range for each group. The Axis M1011-W also secures the transmission by using HTTPS encryption to scramble the image data.
