The AXIS Q2802-E is a premium bispectral camera from the AXIS Q28 Series that combines a VGA (640×480) uncooled microbolometer thermal sensor with a high-resolution 8MP (4K) visual sensor on a single IP address and in a single ruggedized housing. The 17° HFoV variant (03046-001) uses a long 35mm athermalized thermal lens for ultra-long-range narrow detection, paired with a 13.8mm visual lens delivering a 46° horizontal field of view. This is the longest-range variant in the Q2802-E series — enabling human detection at up to 1,079 m (3,539 ft) and vehicle detection at up to 3,307 m (10,847 ft) — making it the optimal choice for border security, critical infrastructure protection, airports, seaports, and large-area perimeter surveillance where maximum stand-off distance is mission-critical. The thermal visual image fusion capability overlays heat signatures on the 4K visual stream for immediate operator verification.
