The Bosch NDE-3702-AL-GOV is a fixed dome variant of the DINION 3100i IR family, purpose-built for government and critical infrastructure outdoor surveillance where federal compliance is mandatory. Delivering 1080p Full HD (2MP) resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) at 120 dB, the camera maintains forensic-quality imagery across scenes combining bright sunlight and deep shadows — common at secured entrances, perimeter checkpoints, and parking structures. The motorized varifocal 3.3–10.2mm lens provides flexible field of view coverage from 106° wide to 31° telephoto without physical lens changes, and the built-in 850nm IR illuminator reaches up to 98 ft (30 m) for 24/7 coverage in zero-ambient-light conditions.

The NDE-3702-AL-GOV ships with IVA Pro Buildings preinstalled — Bosch's deep-learning video analytics engine that delivers highly reliable detection and tracking of persons and vehicles. Unlike traditional motion detection, IVA Pro Buildings is resilient to false triggers from rain, wind, shadows, insects, and reflections, ensuring that only operationally relevant alarms reach security personnel. The camera integrates into large deployments via ONVIF Profiles S, G, M, and T, and is compatible with Bosch Remote Portal for centralized firmware management, certificate handling, and device health monitoring without requiring physical access.

Security is embedded at the hardware level: a built-in Secure Element with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) functionality provides RSA 4096-bit encryption and AES 256-bit data protection for all certificates and keys. The camera is IP66-rated for complete dust and water ingress protection and IK10-rated for high-impact vandal resistance, operating reliably from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F).
