Description

Bosch NEZ-5230-EPCW4 2.4MP PTZ IP Security Camera

With AUTODOME IP 5000 HD cameras, you can capture full details of your surveillance space while effectively tracking moving targets. The camera uses robust algorithms to ensure the subject stays in full focus when the camera is zooming in or tracking to assist security staff in identifying activity details in the scene. The 30x zoom lens with 720p25/30 or 1080p25/30 HD resolution ensures a sufficient magnification ratio to identify people easily from a distance of up to 190 m (623ft) for 1080p models and up to 125 m (410ft) for 720p models. The AUTODOME IP family makes it easier for you to stay in control of your security even when you're on the go. When used in combination with the Video Security App from Bosch, the camera supports Dynamic Transcoding technology, which allows you to stream high-resolution H.264 video, to pan/tilt/zoom the camera, and to search recorded clips remotely through mobile devices such as smart phones or tablets, all on a low-bandwidth network connection (up to 50% less than other H.264 PTZ cameras). The camera provides complete network-based control of all functionality including pan/tilt/zoom operation, presets, tours, alarms, and web-based configuration of all camera settings.

Affordable. The one word is enough to summarize the camera. The field of vision is insanely impressive. But where the camera really shines is the price tag. Even against more expensive products the Bosch camera stands strong. Its ability to keep track of a subject while zooming or searching is smooth enough to make the job easier. The range provides enough area of coverage and with 360 degree pan you don’t need a large number of cameras to cover an area.

Light and fast. Installing cameras over a large area can be costly and the wiring, a nightmare. The Bosch autodome is very efficient when it comes to parceling data. The cameras do take up bandwidth but at times where the internet speed is fluctuating the cameras don’t get disturbed. Once installed the cameras can be wirelessly upgraded with the latest firmware reducing time spend on its maintenance. To further reduce time consumption the cameras are able to be integrated into network video products made by other companies. The alarm presets saves the exhaustion of continuously staring at a monitor.

It is the small details that really make this product shine. Alongside providing a long range of image capture the defogging mechanism and light adjuster make an immense difference. The reason for bringing these two up is very simple. Above all else visibility is a priority for any good security camera. It doesn’t matter where its being installed as long it does its job. The security of the stream is very good. Bosch provides a dedicated software for viewing and the password protection with the security app lets you be away without the worry.
