The Geovision GV-GEBF4802-2F is a 4MP full-color outdoor eyeball dome IP camera built around a 1/3 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor. Its compact eyeball form factor allows flexible aiming within a low-profile housing, suiting entrances, walkways and building perimeters, while H.265 compression with triple streaming keeps bandwidth and storage requirements low. It captures 2560 x 1440 at up to 30 fps.

The defining feature is smart lighting that switches automatically between an IR LED for discreet motion detection and a warm LED for full-color capture of people, vehicles and motorcycles. Both the IR and warm LED reach up to approximately 100 ft, so the camera can monitor in infrared and switch to color illumination when a subject of interest is detected. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.005 lux in color and 0 lux with IR active, and True WDR at 120 dB delivers balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes.

Deep learning AI distinguishes humans and vehicles from other moving objects, powering line crossing and region intrusion detection with real-time alerts through GeoVision Video Management Software. A 2.8mm fixed lens provides a 94 degree horizontal field of view, and a removable IR-cut filter enables true day/night operation. The camera includes a built-in microphone with G.711 audio, 3D noise reduction, a microSD slot for cards up to 256 GB, and corridor format support.
