The Geovision GV-GFER12800 is a 12MP outdoor 360-degree fisheye rugged IP camera built around a 1/1.7 inch progressive scan CMOS sensor with a 1.65mm lens. A single unit covers an entire room or open area with a 360-degree panoramic view, replacing several fixed cameras and reducing the number of IP addresses, licenses and cable runs required for full coverage. It captures 4000 x 3000 at up to 30 fps and uses H.265 compression with triple streaming to keep bandwidth and storage requirements manageable at high resolution.

Deep learning AI distinguishes humans and vehicles from other moving objects, powering intrusion and perimeter analytics with real-time alerts through GeoVision Video Management Software. Onboard dewarping presents the fisheye image in multiple viewing modes, including 360-degree overview, panorama and quad views, so operators can review the scene in the format that suits each installation. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.008 lux in color and 0 lux with the built-in IR active, which reaches up to approximately 49 ft.

The rugged metal housing carries IP67 and IK10 ratings for outdoor and vandal-prone locations, and includes a built-in microphone with G.711 audio, 3D noise reduction and a microSD slot for cards up to 256 GB. The camera operates from -22 °F to 140 °F and is powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC, with ONVIF Profile G, S, T and M conformance for third-party VMS integration.
