The Hanwha Vision XNB-A8004B is a 5MP AI-powered remote-head camera body built on the Wisenet 9 SoC with Dual NPU, designed for flexible integration with interchangeable Hanwha Vision SLA-F and SLA-T series lens modules — lens module is sold separately and is not included. This 1-channel remote-head design separates the camera electronics from the lens module, enabling discreet deployment in constrained spaces, machinery, vehicles, or architectural installations where the camera body and lens must be placed at different locations or distances. The black aluminum and polycarbonate body measures just 131.1 x 33.5 x 86mm, making it one of the most compact 5MP AI camera main units available. A legacy CVBS analog output is included for installation preview without IP infrastructure, and a USB Type-C port enables direct live view during commissioning.

IVA scenarios include tailgating detection, virtual line crossing, area intrusion, loitering, slip and fall, and social distancing monitoring. Business intelligence tools add people and vehicle counting, queue management, heatmap, and crowd counting.

The XNB-A8004B supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12VDC power with failover redundancy, operates from -10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F), and delivers 5MP at 30 fps with H.265/H.264/MJPEG compression and up to 5 simultaneous streams. FIPS 140-3 Level 3 / CC EAL6+ certified secure element provides hardware-rooted cybersecurity. MicroSD edge storage supports up to 1TB.
