The i-PRO Panasonic WV-S65340-Z4N is a 2MP (1080p) outdoor PTZ network camera from the S-Series, built around an approximately 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor and an Ambarella CV25M system on chip with an onboard AI engine. Intelligent Auto uses that engine to adapt exposure automatically as conditions change, and Super Dynamic wide dynamic range reaches up to 144 dB for balanced images in high-contrast scenes.

A 4.25-170mm motorized zoom lens delivers 40x optical zoom, extending to 60x extra zoom at 1280 x 720 and narrowing the horizontal field of view from 65 degrees at wide to 2.1 degrees at full telephoto. At full zoom the camera can detect subjects out to approximately 6874 ft and identify them at approximately 687 ft, making it suited to perimeter, port and campus-wide surveillance. Color night vision is rated down to 0.001 lx, preserving color detail such as clothing and vehicle color in very low light, and a built-in gyro sensor drives the image stabilizer for steady footage on poles subject to vibration.

AI analytics include AI video motion detection, AI privacy guard, AI face detection, AI people detection, AI vehicle detection, AI occupancy detection and AI scene change detection, plus AI sound classification for gunshot, yell, vehicle horn and glass break. The durable pan and tilt gear mechanism provides 360 degree endless panning and a -15 to +195 degree tilt range, with preset speeds up to approximately 500 degrees per second, 256 preset positions, and Auto Track, auto pan, preset sequence and patrol modes. The aluminum die cast housing with a ClearSight-coated dome is certified to IP66, IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10, resists wind up to approximately 89 mph, supports NEMA TS2 for traffic installations, and operates from -58 °F to 140 °F on AC 24V or PoE++ with a heater, fan and ROSAHL anti-condensation system. Security features include a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F), a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, signed firmware, HTTPS and IEEE 802.1X. The camera is NDAA compliant, supports ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, and records to microSDXC cards up to 512 GB.
