The i-PRO Panasonic WV-S8563L is a multi-directional outdoor network camera combining three 6MP sensors for a total of 19MP across up to 270 degrees of coverage. Each head uses an approximately 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor delivering 3328 x 1872 at up to 15 fps, and the entire unit occupies a single IP address, cutting licensing and network infrastructure cost compared with deploying three separate cameras. The three heads can be positioned for 90, 180 or up to 270 degree coverage depending on the installation.

At approximately 3.5 inches deep, this is among the thinnest multi-sensor cameras available, allowing it to blend into both exterior facades and interior ceilings where a bulky housing would be intrusive. Each head carries a fixed 3.1mm lens with an F1.4 maximum aperture delivering a 108 degree horizontal field of view, and the lens design maintains clarity toward the edges of the frame. A wide-range tilt adjustment mechanism with continuous view assistance simplifies aiming the three heads during installation, and a panorama mode stitches a 170 degree horizontal view.

Powered by an Ambarella CV2 system on chip, the camera runs AI analytics including AI video motion detection, AI face detection, AI people detection, AI vehicle detection, AI occupancy detection and AI scene change detection, plus AI sound classification for gunshot, yell, vehicle horn and glass break. Autonomous object detection across wide areas lets security staff focus on real events rather than monitoring every stream. Smart Coding with Smart VIQS and P-picture control reduces bandwidth without sacrificing detail where it matters. Built-in 360 degree IR LEDs illuminate up to approximately 131 ft, color night vision is rated at 0.084 lx, and Super Dynamic wide dynamic range reaches 120 dB. The aluminum die cast housing is certified to IP66, IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10, resists wind up to approximately 89 mph, supports NEMA TS 2 for traffic installations, and operates from -40 °F to 140 °F. Security features include a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F), a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, signed firmware, HTTPS and IEEE 802.1X. The camera is NDAA compliant, supports ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, records to microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and is powered by PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) over a Gigabit network interface.
