The i-PRO Panasonic WV-X25700-V2LN is a 4K vandal-resistant outdoor dome network camera from the X-Series, i-PRO's flagship line for edge AI processing. Built around an approximately 1/1.8 type CMOS image sensor and an Ambarella CV52 system on chip, it supports up to nine concurrent Edge AI analytic applications, substantially more than the three or fewer typical of standard AI cameras.

Two capabilities distinguish this model. AI On-site Learning allows the camera to be trained on objects specific to a site rather than relying only on pre-trained classes, and the AI Processing Relay application lets the camera perform AI image analysis on streams from non-AI cameras elsewhere on the network, extending analytics to existing infrastructure without replacing those cameras. Standard analytics include AI video motion detection, AI privacy guard, AI face, people and vehicle detection, AI occupancy detection and AI scene change detection, plus AI sound classification for gunshot, yell, vehicle horn and glass break.

A 4.3-8.6mm motorized zoom lens with 2.0x optical zoom delivers a horizontal field of view from 52 degrees at telephoto to 101 degrees at wide, with a maximum aperture of F1.5. Color night vision is rated at 0.04 lx and the built-in IR LED reaches approximately 230 ft, while Super Dynamic wide dynamic range reaches 132 dB. A built-in gyro sensor drives the image stabilizer in 30 fps mode. The aluminum die cast housing with a ClearSight-coated dome is certified to IP66, IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10, resists wind up to approximately 89 mph, and operates from -40 °F to 131 °F. Security features include a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F), a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, secure boot, signed firmware, HTTPS and IEEE 802.1X. The camera is NDAA compliant, supports ONVIF Profile G, S, T and M, records to microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and accepts PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or 12 VDC power.
