The camera features a built-in PIR sensor for detecting movements even in the dark. The device also features a two-way audio and built-in microphone that allows the operator to communicate with visitors or intruders through an external audio line input and output. A 3D filter along with the Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) effectively reduces the noise in static images and images with movement. The camera digitally adjusts the exposure in areas of the frame to maintain optimum detail in both the shadows and highlights of the image with the D WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). Built-in high performance IR LED illuminators provide the ability to capture clear images of objects up to 33ft (10m) even in total darkness.

It also supports multiple streaming of formats such as H.264 and MJPEG. The WiFi enabled camera can detect motion and connect to the WiFi network, allowing the user to view the streamed video.
