The face detection function detects the position of human face, and the information gathered is transmitted via XML or video stream.

The camera also includes a full duplex bi-directional audio, which enables interactive communication between the camera site and monitoring site at all times. The camera is IP66 rated water and dust resistant, which adds durability and makes it suitable for outdoor use. The unit is also compatible with the IEC60529 measurement standard.
