The Speco HB1 is a 4MP HD-TVI height strip camera engineered for loss prevention and positive identification at controlled entry points — retail stores, convenience stores, banks, and government facilities. Designed for installation on door frames, entrance walls, or doorway jambs at a defined fixed height, it captures a frontal image of every person crossing the threshold alongside a calibrated height scale, providing both facial/upper body detail and a precise height measurement for identification and incident reporting. The height strip format ensures that every entering or exiting subject is captured in a consistent, unobstructed frame — a standard requirement for loss prevention programs, law enforcement cooperation, and post-incident investigation.

The HB1 transmits 4MP video over existing or new RG59/RG6 coaxial wiring to a compatible HD-TVI DVR, requiring no IP network infrastructure, PoE switches, or structured cabling. This makes it an ideal upgrade for existing analog CCTV installations or new deployments in environments where IP infrastructure is unavailable or undesired.
