Supporting IP cameras up to 8MP at 30fps with H.265 compression, the N8NRV8TB stores up to twice as much footage as H.264 systems — a critical advantage for sites that need extended retention without expanding storage hardware. With 8 built-in PoE ports (802.3at, up to 30W per port) and a 72W total PoE budget, the N8NRV8TB powers and connects all cameras directly, eliminating the need for a separate switch and reducing installation complexity. The N8NRV8TB is NDAA compliant, making it suitable for government and federally funded surveillance projects.
The N8NRV8TB includes free US-based DDNS and P2P services through Speco, enabling secure remote access via web browser or the Speco Blue mobile app on iOS and Android — with no ongoing subscription fees. The 4K HDMI output and Full HD VGA secondary monitor output support dual-display monitoring setups, while Smart Search lets operators define specific regions in the camera view to rapidly locate relevant motion events. The single SATA bay supports up to 10TB total storage, and video can be easily exported via USB in MP4, AVI, or JPG format. When paired with compatible cameras, the N8NRV8TB supports a broad range of AI analytics including line crossing, region intrusion, face detection, LPR, people counting, heat mapping, and more.
