The Vivotek SD8161 is a high-performance 2MP indoor PTZ dome IP security camera designed for real-time surveillance in spacious and dynamic indoor environments such as airports, train stations, and large lobbies. Equipped with a 1/3" progressive CMOS sensor and an 18x optical zoom lens (f = 4.7–84 mm), it delivers full HD 1080p video at 30 FPS. Its pan/tilt mechanism supports 360° endless pan and 220° tilt with speeds up to 450° per second for responsive tracking. WDR Enhancement improves visibility in difficult lighting, and the removable IR-cut filter enables day and night functionality. The SD8161 also features auto tracking for moving objects, triple-window motion detection, and 256 preset positions. With H.264 and MJPEG compression, a built-in MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, and PoE+ support, this camera combines advanced video quality, flexibility, and efficiency for critical indoor monitoring.
