Simply put, AXIS Q3517-LVE delivers the best video quality possible. It offers 5-megapixel resolution at full frame rate (up to 30 fps) with Forensic WDR. That means it delivers excellent detail - even of moving objects and people - as well as of scenes with both extremely bright and extremely dark areas. Thanks to Lightfinder, you also get sharp, color images in low light. OptimizedIR ensures excellent low-noise video even in complete darkness. Axis Zipstream technology preserves important details in full image quality, while reducing storage and bandwidth by 50% or more.

Ready for the rough stuff - every time

AXIS Q3517-LVE is designed to be reliable under rough conditions and in harsh climates. It can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C to 60°C (-58°F to 140°F). It comes with a weathershield that keeps the rain off. Its IP66-, IP67-, and NEMA 4X-rated casing protects it against water, corrosion and dust.

Electronic image stabilization keeps the picture steady when the camera is exposed to vibrations. The casing is also vandal resistant with IK10+ rating. And what's more, even if there is a power outage, redundant DC power and Power over Ethernet helps ensure a reliable power supply to safeguard all your mission critical surveillance.

Crammed with extra features

External sensors and detectors can be connected to input ports to trigger alarms or actions. An alarm can even be sent if connections are cut, so you can decide how to respond fast. You can also use dynamic overlays, which now allows for more flexibility when adding information, such as text and images, to your video stream. In addition, you can also download and install our AXIS Motion Guard and AXIS Fence Guard analytics software for free. AXIS Motion Guard triggers an alarm when movement is detected, making it ideal for surveillance of unattended areas. And AXIS Fence Guard lets you define your own virtual fences to protect specific areas and objects, and be notified if someone crosses the line.

AXIS Q3517-LVE makes installation and maintenance easy with several helpful tools such as leveling assistant, auto rotation, remote zoom and focus and straighten-image aid. AXIS Q3517-LVE also features flexible cable management and optional connections to any conduit.
