The AXIS Canon VB-H47B is the black-finish variant of the VB-H47 Full HD PTZ IP security camera, combining a powerful 20x optical zoom (16x digital zoom) lens with exceptional low-light performance and fast autofocus in a compact indoor dome form factor. Featuring a 1/2.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor and a 4.7–94mm motorized varifocal lens with F1.6–F3.5 aperture, it delivers Full HD 1080p video at up to 60 fps across a 62.4° to 3.3° horizontal field of view — making it equally capable of broad lobby overviews and precision close-up detail capture from a single mounting point. The black finish provides a discreet, low-visibility profile suited to corporate, hospitality, and architectural interior environments.

The VB-H47B delivers remarkable low-light performance — color imaging at just 0.02 lux and monochrome at 0.003 lux — enabling clear surveillance in near-darkness conditions without IR illumination. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and Smart Shade Control handle high-contrast scenes such as backlit entrances and window-adjacent areas. Five simultaneous streams including two H.265 or H.264 streams are supported, along with ADSR (Area-specific Data Size Reduction) for bandwidth-efficient multi-stream delivery. Intelligent Function analytics include Moving Object Detection, Abandoned and Removed Object Detection, Passing Detection, Intrusion Detection, Volume Detection, Face Detection, and Camera Tampering Detection — all available without additional licensing.

The camera supports pan (±170°) and tilt (100°) with a maximum speed of 150°/sec, with up to 64 preset positions and 5 patrol routes. Two-way audio is supported via 3.5mm mono jacks for both input and output. ONVIF Profile S/G/T compliance ensures interoperability with third-party VMS platforms. Powered via PoE (IEEE 802.3at Type 1, max 9.1W) or 12V DC, and supports SD/SDHC/SDXC card edge storage. Optional indoor dome housing (DR41-C-VB or DR41-S-VB) and pendant mounting kit (PC600-VB) are available separately.
