AXIS M3113-VE Outdoor IP Security Camera

Designed to monitor building entrances, the Axis M3113-VE is a small and discreet IP camera. It produces SVGA 800 x 800 resolution images at full frame rate while H.264 compression optimizes bandwidth and storage consumption. Thanks to progressive scan, images are clear and free from motion blur. It features a pixel counter to ensure quality standards are being met, making it a great option for restaurants, hotels, stores and more. For video compression, it transmits multiple streams in H.264 and MJPEG video formats at either full frame rates or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints.

A unique feature of this device is its pixel counter function, which calculates the number of pixels contained in a given part of the image, for example a person's face. This is an important feature for satisfying certain jurisdictions requiring proof of resolution before an image can be submitted for evidence. Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection, and active tampering alarm. The AXIS M3113-VE Outdoor IP Security Camera supports an open API (Application Programming Interface) for software integration, including the ONVIF specification for interoperability between network video products. Power is supplied to the unit through PoE (IEEE 802.3af); hence the device gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
