The Axis M3114-VE is a flat-style vandal-proof IP camera that is ideal for discreet monitoring of business entrances. It is especially quick to install, and comes equipped with a UV-resistant weather shield that also helps protect against rain, dust and snow. It can operate in temperatures from 122 °F (50 °C) down to -4 °F (-20 °C). It is also vandal-resistant and can detect tampering attempts such as blocking or spray-painting. Providing excellent quality video at full frame rate, the M3114-VE supports 1 MP and HDTV 720p resolution.
Without the weather shield, the device provides a greater tilt range and is suitable for ceiling mount installations where the shield is not required, such as in a cold storage room or under a porch. Despite its small size, this megapixel camera produces HDTV 720p resolution video at full frame rate. It minimizes motion blur and produces clear images with progressive scan. The AXIS M3114-VE 1 Megapixel Outdoor IP Security Camera features a pixel counter for verifying whether the pixel resolution of an object meets specific requirements. Power over Ethernet support further simplifies installation since only one cable is needed for transmitting power and video. This camera comes packaged with a lens tool to aid in installation.
