Axis P1224-E Network Camera is a tiny HDTV 720p camera with a wide range of 145° horizontal field of view-ideal for overview surveillance. This camera is an IP66-rated camera, for use in ceilings, elevators, or in limited spaces such as in ATMs (automated teller machines). It is optimal for use in stores, banks, offices, and hotels.
Axis P1224-E comprises of two parts: the main unit (with network, power and input/output connections and a memory card slot) and the sensor unit (consisting of the lens and image sensor) with an 8 meter cable. The cable, powering the sensor unit to be installed prudently in tight places, connects the two parts and the main unit installed separately.

Mounting bracket comes along with the Axis P1224-E camera for simple and forthwith installation. Ethernet powers the camera or can be powered by external power supply.
Other features are active tampering alarm, video motion detection and input/output ports for external device connections. Axis P1224-E Network camera offers HDTV 720p (1280x720 pixels) video in Motion JPEG and H.264 format.
