AXIS P1357-E 5mp IP Fixed Outdoor Security Camera presents a top-of-the-line, 5-megapixel outdoor-ready network device with HDTV 1080p performance, precise iris control for optimal image clarity and H.264 compression. It is suitable for outdoor use at airports, banks, shops, for city surveillance and any application that requires coverage of a large area or extremely high image detail. The 1/3.2″ Progressive Scan RGB CMOS sensor on this unit is capable of operating in 5 and 3 Mp recording modes, and captures images at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 at full frame rate. The varifocal 2.8-8 mm F1.2 Lens offers a viewing angle of 80 to 32°, allowing for coverage of a wider surveillance area. Additionally, H.264 compression helps deliver clear, crisp, and vivid surveillance images without consuming a large amount of storage space. It provides multiple H.264 and motion JPEG video streams.

The AXIS P1357-E 5mp IP Fixed Outdoor Security Camera's revolutionary P-Iris enables automatic and precise control of the iris position to optimize depth of field and lens resolution for optimal image sharpness. DC-iris lenses are also supported for backward compatibility. The day/night functionality allows high image quality to be maintained even in low light conditions. Improving security by recording at night, day/night devices use special light-sensitive image sensors to record in low light and an IR-cut filter to automatically switch based on the amount of light available. This automatic filter requires not additional settings or commands to switch between color and black/white video, giving you easy day or night video surveillance.
