AXIS P1405-LE Network Camera is an outdoor-ready, bullet style compact cameras. Day and night recording facility of the camera makes it ideal for 24/7 outdoor video surveillance. This system offers excellent image quality at 30 frames per second in 2 megapixel/HDTV resolution. Its P-iris control provides optimal depth of field, resolution, image contrast, and clarity. The cost efficient and compact design camera provides multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams that can be individually optimized for bandwidth and storage efficiency.

Excellent Image Quality With a varifocal, P-iris lens, AXIS P1405-LE Mk II provides excellent image quality at up to 30 frames per second in HDTV 1080p / 2 megapixel resolution. The P-iris control provides optimal depth of field, resolution, image contrast and clarity. The cost-effective, compactly designed camera offers multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams that can be individually optimized for bandwidth and storage efficiency.

Built-in Night Vision-LED AXIS P1405-LE Mk II offers discreet integration of power efficient Night Vision LED, providing automatic illumination of a scene in complete darkness, at an event or when requested by a user. The Night Vision LED illumination, which is invisible to the human eye, is perfect for discovering objects in a range of up to 10 meters (33ft).

Edge Storage and Zipstream With edge storage it is possible to record video directly to a storage such as a microSD/SDHC™* card, thereby creating a flexible and reliable video surveillance system. In addition, AXIS' Zipstream technology significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without costly and complicated integration. Zipstream ensures that important details in the image get enough attention in the video stream, while unnecessary data can be removed.

WDR - Forensic Capture   Many years of research and development have now resulted in WDR - Forensic Capture, our most advanced imaging technology, and available in some of our latest and most advanced cameras. This method applies a set of advanced algorithms to lower noise levels and increase the image signal, to display every single detail in the scene in the best possible way. The result is video that is highly optimized for forensic purposes, ensuring all details are captured in both dark and bright areas at the same time - even in scenes with very complex lighting conditions. Furthermore, AXIS cameras with WDR - Forensic Capture provide the ability to seamlessly transition between WDR and low-light mode. Compared to other currently available WDR technology, this method makes it easier to detect and identify important details in a scene.
