AXIS P3225-V Mk II Network Camera is a streamlined fixed dome providing HDTV 1080p video. The camera is ideal for indoor video surveillance in retail, banking, hotels and other service industries.

Built-in Night Vision-LEDs and OptimizedIR

With Axis OptimizedIR, a power-efficient LED technology that provides an adaptable angle of Night Vision illumination and discreet integration of Night Vision LEDs, the camera provides automatic illumination of a scene in complete darkness, at an event or when requested by a user. The Night Vision LED illumination, which is invisible to the human eye, is perfect for discovering objects in a range of up to 20 meters (66ft).

Effortless and Versatile Instalation

AXIS P3225-V Mk II is dust-resistant and IK08 impact-resistant, and has been designed for effortless and reliable installation. The camera features a varifocal lens and remote zoom and focus capabilities, which eliminates the need for hands-on fine tuning. AXIS P3225-V Mk II can be mounted flush to a wall, ceiling or on junction boxes, and optional kits are available for recessed mounting or on pendants. Further, the camera supports versatile cable management with optional adapters for connecting to various conduits. The camera casing is easily repaintable in any desired color to blend into the environment.

Image Usability

AXIS P3225-V Mk II Network Camera is a streamlined fixed dome providing HDTV 720p video. The camera is ideal for indoor video surveillance in retail, banking, hotels and other service industries.

Equipped with WDR - Forensic Capture to handle scenes with strong light variations, Lightfinder for exceptional light sensitivity, and P-Iris control for optimal clarity and depth of field, this versatile camera provides outstanding video quality in both strong and poor light conditions. Day and night functionality, together with Axis’ built-in IR solution, OptimizedIR, ensures an evenly illuminated view and excellent video quality even in complete darkness.

Axis Zipstream Technology

Finally, Axis’ Zipstream technology lowers bandwidth and storage requirements by an average of 50%, while preserving high-quality images: Scenes containing interesting details are recorded in full image quality and resolution while other areas are filtered out, to optimally use available bandwidth and storage.

WDR - Forensic Capture

Axis’ WDR - Forensic Capture optimizes video for forensic purposes by enabling an extremely high level of detail to be visible in both dark and bright areas of a scene. It is the result of years of development at Axis combined with the best imaging components on the market. An Axis camera with WDR - Forensic Capture applies advanced algorithms to optimize image quality and includes the ability to seamlessly transition between WDR and low-light mode.

Axis Lightfinder Technology

Lightfinder technology is a combination of Axis’ expertise in image processing, in-house system-on-chip development and selection of the best optical components. Cameras with Axis’ Lightfinder technology have extreme light sensitivity. Such cameras can deliver color images in as little light as 0.18 lux or lower. Compared with any analog or network cameras, the Lightfinder technology will give more life-like colors in low-light conditions. The noise reduction of the Lightfinder technology is vastly improved compared with any surveillance camera on the market, which in combination with the light sensitivity of the sensor gives a superior image quality.

    I have the camera installed on the first story balcony facing the backyard as well as the alley way behind the house. We needed a camera that could cover the shared parking space which was accessed by the alley way. What is amazing is that every detail was clearly visible in the video feed. The camera’s visibility does reduce in heavy rain but at 60 fps it is clear to see everything that is going on. The resolution makes an immense difference as it becomes very easy to distinguish features in the video feed.
