A Camera That Can Take It

he outdoor-ready AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II is specially designed to be reliable, weatherproof and vandal resistant. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -50 °C to 60 °C (-58 °F to 140 °F). And it comes with a weather shield for effective protection from sunlight, rain or snow. AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II also features IK10+ rating, which means it can withstand at least 50 joules of impact. And an alarm can be sent if the camera receives a blow.
Installation That's as Easy as 1,2,3

The compact fixed-dome design of AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II makes installation easy and cost-effective. And there are useful aids like level assistant, digital leveling and auto rotation available. AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II also features versatile cable management with space for a service loop and optional connection to any kind of conduit. There's a bracket included for mounting on junction boxes or directly on walls or ceilings, and there are optional accessories for recessed mounting or mounting on pendants. In addition remote zoom and focus capabilities provide convenient zooming and focusing over the network, eliminating the need for hands-on fine-tuning.
Fast. Faster. Fastest

With up to 100/120 fps in HDTV 720p with WDR disabled and up to 30 fps in HDTV 1080p with WDR enabled, AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II captures sharp images of fast-moving objects and people. So you'll be able to identify people, objects and vehicles in harsh environments under difficult lighting conditions. The Electronic image stabilization greatly improves video quality in situations where the camera is subject to vibrations, providing smooth and comfortable live viewing.
Axis Zipstream Technology


Finally, Axis' Zipstream technology lowers bandwidth and storage requirements by an average of 50%, while preserving high-quality images: Scenes containing interesting details are recorded in full image quality and resolution while other areas are filtered out, to optimally use available bandwidth and storage.
WDR - Wide Forensic Capture




Axis' WDR - Forensic Capture optimizes video for forensic purposes by enabling an extremely high level of detail to be visible in both dark and bright areas of a scene. It is the result of years of development at Axis combined with the best imaging components on the market. An Axis camera with WDR - Forensic Capture applies advanced algorithms to optimize image quality and includes the ability to seamlessly transition between WDR and low-light mode.

AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II provides images that are optimized for forensic purposes regardless of lighting conditions. It has enhanced Lightfinder technology for high-quality images even when they're recorded in darkness. WDR - Forensic Capture ensures excellent detail when there are both bright and darker areas in a scene. And Axis' Zipstream technology significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements, while preserving high-quality images. In addition, AXIS Q3505-VE Mk II offers a wide range of viewing angles with standard (3-9 mm) and telephoto (9-22 mm) lens options available.
Axis Lightfinder Technology
 

Lightfinder technology is a combination of Axis' expertise in image processing, in-house system-on-chip development and selection of the best optical components.

Cameras with Axis' Lightfinder technology have extreme light sensitivity. Such cameras can deliver color images in as little light as 0.18 lux or lower.

Compared with any analog or network cameras, the Lightfinder technology will give more life-like colors in low-light conditions.

The noise reduction of the Lightfinder technology is vastly improved compared with any surveillance camera on the market, which in combination with the light sensitivity of the sensor gives a superior image quality.
Electronic Image Stabilization


A surveillance camera mounted in an exposed location such as on a high pole or a street sign near a busy road, can be shaken by winds or passing traffic, which will blur the video.

In these situations, Electronic image stabilization, a feature in Axis network cameras which greatly improves video quality in situations where a camera is subject to vibrations, provides smooth and comfortable live viewing.
