The i-PRO Panasonic WV-S2536LNA is a 2MP (1080p) vandal-resistant outdoor dome network camera from the S-Series, built around an approximately 1/2.8 type CMOS image sensor and an onboard AI engine. The camera supports up to two Edge AI analytic applications, including AI video motion detection, AI people, face and vehicle detection, AI privacy guard, AI occupancy detection and AI sound classification for gunshot, yell, vehicle horn and glass break events.

A 2.9~9mm motorized zoom lens with 3.1x optical zoom and auto focus delivers a horizontal field of view from 36 degrees at telephoto to 113 degrees at wide, with a maximum aperture of F1.3. Super Dynamic wide dynamic range reaches up to 144 dB for balanced exposure in mixed lighting, while the built-in IR LED provides illumination up to approximately 230 ft. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.007 lx in color and 0 lx with the IR LED active.

Housing construction combines aluminum die cast and resin with a polycarbonate dome, certified to IP66, NEMA 4X and IK10 for outdoor and vandal-prone installations, and rated for operation from -40 °F to 140 °F. On the security side, the camera carries a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F), a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, HTTPS, IEEE 802.1X and alteration detection. The unit is NDAA compliant and supports ONVIF Profile G, S, T and M, H.265 and H.264 streaming, edge recording to microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and either PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC power.
